Emerald Air Starters & Equipment

Originally opening in 1989, Emerald Air Starters & Equipment (EASE) was strategically acquired by the Dowdens Group in 2009 to strengthen & diversify the Group’s sale, supply & service capabilities for air operated pneumatic mining equipment & heavy-duty tools to the Bowen Basin & surrounding Central Queensland coal mining regions. Having a dedicated retail space & service workshop in Emerald, as well as the existing Dowdens Group business premises located in Mackay, Rockhampton, Proserpine & Brisbane QLD allowed the workshops to subsequently manage larger workloads, meaning quicker service turnaround times for customers.

The Dowdens Group strive to meet our customer’s expectations in all facets of the organisation. We understand that effective and efficient environmental management and sustainable strategies not only enrich the quality of our products and services but also encourage us to improve our business practices.
