Role Overview
As part of our busy Proserpine Infield crew, we have the opportunity for a Pump Technician / Tradesperson (Plumber / Fitter) or suitably experienced Trades Assistant to join our team and be immersed in the wide scope of works we conduct throughout the Whitsunday’s and surrounding regions.
Based from our Proserpine office (no FIFO option available) this role is perfect for those who enjoy the flexibility and opportunity to work on a wide range of pumping and water treatment projects whilst continuing to broaden experience and capabilities!
Role Responsibilities
- Install and repair pumps and pumping equipment
- Pipe work installation
- Troubleshoot and conduct routine maintenance and repairs to pumping and water treatment equipment
- Contribute to the manufacture, install and general maintenance of water and waste water treatment plants
- Earthmoving machinery operation and trenching
- Recording of servicing information, photographs and other documentation relevant to the job
Eligibility
- Trade Qualification preferred – Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Plumber OR;
- Technician experienced with pumps and / or pumping equipment / irrigation / civil / plumbing industries
- Current manual Drivers Licence
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals and parts information
- Supply own hand tools
