We also stock a wide range of workshop consumables, abrasives, safety equipment, power, measuring and hand tools, welding equipment, along with a large range of spare parts and fittings.
Role Overview
This full time position is based in Emerald and is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Working Monday to Friday on various types of pneumatic equipment including airstarters, tools, air operated water pumps, compressors and small motors through to rebuilds of larger equipment from the mining and industrial industries.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct rebuilds and trouble shooting to a wide range of equipment
- Carry out repairs, maintenance and workshop fit outs
- Recording of servicing information, photographs and other documentation relevant to the job
- Have initiative, work independently and within a team
- Collaborate with the team to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
- Adhere to strict safety standards, follow corporate work procedures and policies
Eligibility
- Have previous mechancial / fitting experience (trade qualification not essential)
- Live in or local to Emerald QLD (no FIFO)
- Hold a current Driver’s Licence
- Supply own basic hand tools
- Adhere to and support continual improvement to safety, quality and company culture
- Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential
